Camera and voice at the table
Games with video chat built in
A video call is fine for talking, but playing together is more fun. On Omerta the camera and voice are part of the game table itself: open a link, sit down and play. There is no app to install and no separate call to start.

No Zoom or Discord needed
Omerta is a website, not a Zoom or Discord app, and the games do not run inside other video calls. Every table has its own video and voice that start right in the browser when you sit down. Everyone joins with the same table link, and the server runs the game: it deals the cards, keeps the timers and counts the votes.
All you need is a browser with access to the camera and microphone — on a computer, a tablet or a phone.
Which games use video and voice
- Mafia (also known as Werewolf) — 5–12 players. Camera and microphone stay on during a game: reading faces is half of it.
- Hidden Code — a Codenames-style team word game for 4–10 players; your team hears and sees each other.
- Guess the Word — an Alias-style game for 4–10 players. You explain out loud, so a microphone is needed; the camera is off by default.
- Hint Taken — one-word hints for 3–8 players, with camera and microphone at the table.
- Long backgammon and carrom — two players, with the opponent on camera next to the board. The camera is optional.
- Syndicate — a Monopoly-style game for 2–4 players with voice chat only, no cameras.
- Movie — up to 12 people: one shares the screen, the others watch and talk on camera and in the chat.
How to start a video game night
Sign in with email or Telegram, create a table for the game you want and send your friends the link. A table can be locked with a password so only your friends can sit down. When someone sits down, the browser asks for camera and microphone access — allow it, and you are in.
The interface is available in English and follows your browser language. The word games have English words: with an English interface a new table starts with them automatically.
Tips for a good game night on camera
- Sit facing a light source: in Mafia people watch your face, so keep it visible.
- Use headphones — they stop echo when several people talk at once.
- Pick the game by group size: Mafia for 5–12, word games for 3–10, backgammon or carrom for two.
- If the connection drops, open the link again: you return to the same seat.
Your table is one link away
Create a table, send the link and see your friends at the table in a minute.

Yes, you can play for free. A subscription adds extra features, but you do not need it to play.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Every game runs in the browser on a phone or a computer.
How many people can play?
Up to 12 in City Mafia and in the Movie room, up to 10 in the team word games, and two in backgammon and carrom.
